1. The Drop

What a nice surprise! Thoroughly enjoyed watching everything unfold with the performances from Tom Brady and James Gandolfini  in The Drop.  Each performance supplement the films amazing screenplay with an expertise ease. Tom Brady is on his way to become one of the greats.

2. The LEGO Movie

A modern day 'South Park' with a more clever commentary. Released almost ten months ago, The LEGO Movie is the best animated film of the year.

3. Top Five

Totally snubbed by Golden Globes this comedy ensemble Top Five is poignant, real, and most of all funny in all the right places. It’s a Chris Rock movie meaning: it’s not for everyone. It for me and the comedy is raw and uncut as expected.

4. Nightcrawler

Jake Gyllenhaal is creepy, psychotic, disturbing, and perfect in the Nightcrawler. The Oscar bait performance will stick into the mind long  after viewing.

5. Birdman

Michael Keaton always knows how to choose the perfect role in his career at the perfect moment. Birdman is no exception, ensemble with an amazing cast Edward Norton, Emma Stone, and Zach Gakaniskinis. Great Film.

  1. hey i love to review movies too! And i do agree with you in some aspect. For example i never saw the drop or birdman. I got to watch those. Nightcrawler was great and the lego movie was funny. But top five was okay. But overall interesting picks.
