It is about come up for one of the biggest groups in history and with John Singleton attached expect another classic tale for the urban community to embrace long after the films release. Dr.Dre and Ice Cube executive produce this monumental project sure to touch the hearts of millions hip-hop fans across the nation on August 11, 2015.
2. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation looks more of the style of M: I:2 directed by John Woo, the action appears to be the focal point this go around. Cruise in top shape as always with Ving Rhames returning, expect this to be the summer’s hottest blockbuster come July 31, 2015. Paramount believes in this sequel so much they moved the date from December 2015 to July, where it belongs. Your mission should you choose to accept it!!!
3. Mad Max: Fury Road
George Miller the director of the original “Mad Max” directs the remake “Mad Max: Fury Road” starring brilliant Tom Hardy and Oscar Winner Charlize Theron. If the movie is half as exhilarating in which the trailer hints, then we’re in for one hell of a ride on May 15, 2015.
4. “Pixels”

Adam Sandler and Kevin James lead invasion movie that’s videogame Ghostbusters meets Independence Day in this movie directed and produced by Chris Columbus, the same man behind blockbuster hits like Mrs. Doubtfire and Home Alone. Could this be the hit of Sandler’s career? Invade the theaters and see July 24, 2015.
5. “Dope”
A movie about ’90’s music and culture consider the world intrigued. Fans of the ’90’s will come out in droves to support the best era in history for music. Forest Whittaker produces this urban drama. Pharrell Williams is also, a producer on the film and producer for the film’s soundtrack. Zoe Kravitz, A$AP Rocky, and Tyga star in this comedy hitting the big screen on June 19, 2015.
6. “Southpaw”
Fresh from Nightcrawler set arrives Jake Gyllenhaal in boxing drama “Southpaw” directed by Antoine Fuqua (“Traning Day”) which sure looks like an epic drama. Forest Whitaker, Rachel McAdams, 50 Cent and Naomie Harris star. The film will be about the struggle of recovery from the event, and an underdog coming back from extreme downfall. See the KO July 24, 2015!
7. Entourage
I’m super excited for “Entourage,” the best seasons were 3 and 4, every season after that gradually got worse and worse, it would’ve been the greatest show on earth. Nonetheless, looking forward, hopefully, more of what we have come to love will be in the movie on June 5, 2015. Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven reprise there respective roles.
8. Masterminds
Zach Galifianakis and Kristen Wiig in a movie titled “Masterminds,” that’s all you need to make a comedy, the rest is history. Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis also star in the hilarious true story about a bank robbery that hits theater screens August 7, 2015.
9. Trainwreck
“Trainwreck,” looks like a typical Apatow movie -extremely formulaic with the homely leading ‘individual’ with the additional dirty jokes to make it look modern and edgy, which all come off as improvised. Amy Schumer is known for her unusual improve skills on her show Inside Amy Schumer. This train wrecks the box office on July 17, 2015.
10. Tomorrowland
Disney’s latest live action blockbuster “Tomorrowland” hitting screen on May 20, 2015 will probably inspire a lot of young women just like “The Hunger Game” franchise. Young adults need heroes and role models so, I have plenty of trust in Brad Bird bringing some innovative ideas into the “young-adult Utopian future with a female heroine who is chosen to save everyone” genre. George Clooney stars in this Disney sci-fi film sure to entertain like a blockbuster should.
11. Self/less
Ben Kingsley stars as a dying man in intriguing sci-fi drama “Self / Less,” but does a body transplant before it is too late in “Face Off” style, Ryan Reynolds then emerges. Consider it refreshing to see a movie that’s not a reboot from Hollywood but instead an original film that actually looks intriguing and confusing at the same time. Hopefully, moviegoers will give this sci-fi movie a chance come July 10, 2015.
12. Regression
Ethan Hawke and Emma Watson star in the Alejandro Amenabar’s thriller, “Regression” where everything is not what it appears to the eye. Hawke plays a detective trying to solve a case about a young lady played by Watson who was sexually assaulted by her father supposedly, but the truth will be revealed on the big screen August 28, 2015 in this chilling moody thriller.
