.One of the most hyped shows of the Fall was positively overhyped! “Where Is Fish Mooney”.More of her is what the show needs.Jada Pinkett is a gem and the most interesting character surprisingly. The rest of the characters are dull and seem to just mope around.Let’s hope for better episode next week.Ben Mckenzie(Southland) as Jim Gordon is not a good match.

.The first 10-15  minutes on the premiere of Blackish was comedy heaven but towards Urban Department promotion ;steam quickly left leaving wrinkles in the plot. Tracie Ellis Ross is dull and the less the better.Executive producers Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne shine here more than the rest of the cast.Anthony has on-time delivery with confidence. Laurence Fishburne is good here but not great. Maybe better next episode.Interestingly, the show is very telling of how many African American feel specifically the affluent and and/or educated.

.WOW! Viola Davis is astounding as Anneliese. Cant tell if she is cold or a diabolical scheme and that mystery just pulls the viewer in. The first hour is very entertaining several interesting subplots. Very Intriguing, Mysterious, Unpredictable and Sexy! How To Get Away With Murder is the best of the best of this fall season.Bang Bang Viola Davis

.A very lukewarm show thats talks big but comes up looking mediocre amongst all of the super viruses, typing fast, and advanced technology. Highly mediocre.

.Debra Messing was enjoyable. Very manic in it’s tones, transforming from comedy to drama to mystery. Tonal shifts need to be blended together in order for the show to be a success.Action show with comic relief would be the right recipe.

Grade: 74 C
